Milford White Sage for Smudging

from $25.00

Milford white sage is hand harvested and is available soon after harvesting to retain its freshness, aroma and cleansing properties.

It comes from a magical place in Tasmania called Milford, located near Hobart. The first Tasmanian white sage plantation was established there in 2021. Renowned for excellent pinot noir, Milford's special micro climate also produces the finest white sage for smudging, clearing and uplifting spaces.

Milford's ancient forest meets the shimmering sea in a rare scene of untouched coastal harmony.

This unique location helps protect its ecological treasures and offers an unbroken connection between land and sea, where the forest's hush meeting the rhythm of the shoreline.

Stretching along Tasmania's southeast coast, Milford Forest's 40 hectare old-growth woodland is a biodiverse living tapestry of ancient Eucalyptus viminalis (white gum).

Home to many floral and fauna wonders including 30 orchid species – two found nowhere else in the world, masked owls, wedge-tailed eagles, Tasmanian devils and quolls.

It is nature's beating heart of Milford, whose custodians, the Lewis family, have stewarded its wild beauty since 1829.
