Our Story
We are a collective of Traders, Storytellers, Scientists, and Artists who have come together to create the Ecotopia—a happy place where we are each able to express our work and uplift one another through a collaboration of expression.
Conceived in 2012, the Emporia, has been nurtured to life by a group of people who share a deep love of beautiful, functional and ethical products to experience. Seven years in preparation was spent on research, testing and product development. We source and supply only that which sits lightly on our descendant’s shoulders.
Ecotopia Origins
Ecotopia Australia was born from a love of practical, ethical and beautiful items for everyday use. Over the past 25 years we have worked with some of the most inspiring and innovative brands in the world. We created the Emporia as a place to share the innovative products and artworks that bring us all joy and genuinely improve the quality of our lives.
We base our Ecotopia philosophies on balance—a balance of the senses, of expression and of needs—to explore and discover the poetics of life as the multifaceted thing that it is. We want people to thrive and glow from within.
We are constantly evolving our range at a rate that is sustainable for our partners and our sanity. The Emporia is designed as a space that melds together useful information alongside our product range to share a cohesive and accessible experience.
